Professor Saul Cornell writes in the New York Times about the recent Supreme Court ruling on the Second Amendment

Professor Saul Cornell of Fordham's History Department (and the Fordham American Studies executive committee) was one of seven scholars asked by the New York Times's "Room for Debate" to comment on Monday's Supreme Court ruling that the Second Amendment’s guarantee of an individual’s right to bear arms applied to state and local laws. Professor Cornell, who joined the Fordham faculty a year ago, is the author of A Well-Regulated Militia: The Founding Fathers and the Origins of Gun Control in America.
